Scandia products are tested for harmful substances: our coveralls and flame retardant bedding are now certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
The results of the inspection made according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, product class II have shown that Scandia’s coveralls and flame retardant bedding meet the human-ecological requirements of the standard presently established for products with direct contact to skin.

Scandia’s Universal Testing Device for Immersion Suits has now been exclusively certified by Gemanischer Lloyd to be in compliance with SOLAS/MSC81.(70).
It is suitable for different types and brands of immersion suits. Sleeve cones for detachable gloves and special pressing boards for the Viking type with diagonal zip closure are available separately.
It comes in a case with a ‘Maintenance and Repair Kit’, which includes a tube of ‘Super Repair’ glue to ensure professional re-waterproofing of damage and/or leakage incurred during testing.
